Galaxy DJ's is a professional sound and lighting company that operates within the Four Corners area. We have over eight years of experience in the dj business and have come to grow with our customers. We cater to all of our customers and provide enhanced shows with special effects and led lighting.

 Tips for hiring a DJ

 

As the saying goes "you get what you pay for". I have heard plenty of people say they went with the lowest priced dj and their event did not turn out the way they would have liked. Remember that a dj not only plays music but controls the pace of the party, creates and changes moods within the party and practically makes or breaks the event. There are the "professional djs" who have dedicated equipment and have put time and effort into their presentations, and then there are also those who get a pair of home speakers/ipod and think they're set for a gig. When looking for a dj, dont let the price be the deciding factor because you want to have a successful event and not have the worry in that area of entertainment. Each dj has their own niche and you will find that out. Some dj's focus on their blends of music while others focus on the crowd reactions.

 

At our events we have a team of two djs and this is why: The typical event has a lighting and sound system, which both dj's operate. The second dj on the lighting system will also take request for the dj and also be the second pair of eyes to see the crowds reaction to certain types of music. The dj's will bounce off ideas on one another and work together to get the crowd interacting. Our set-up time averages one hour with two djs.
